The Drakes Broughton and Wadborough with Pirton Parish Council and its officers look after the interests of the villages and the general maintenance of the area ensuring that the needs of the local community are taken into account.


The Parish Council has 14 Councillors, 8 representing Drakes Broughton, 3  representing Wadborough and a further 3 representing Pirton.


Membership of sub groups and individual responsibilies are agreed each year.


The Parish Council meets on the first Thursday each month at the Village Hall in Drakes Broughton. Meetings start at 7.30pm. Members of the public are invited to make representations to the Parish Council at the start of each meeting.


The meeting agenda with the minutes of the previous meeting can be seen are on the Parish Notice boards in Drakes Broughton, Wadborough and Pirton 3 days before the meeting.
